I'm Emilia Zibaei, a multidisciplinary creative specializing in branding, photography, and graphic design.

My creative journey started in photography, capturing portraits and stories that shed light on the immigrant and marginalized experience in Canada. Through these projects, I discovered the power of storytelling—an experience that deepened my curiosity for design and inspired me to explore it as a medium for self-expression and creativity.

My design philosophy is rooted in collaboration, empathy, and purpose. I believe the best design doesn’t just look good—it inspires, makes people feel seen, and resonates emotionally. Whether through branding, photography, or storytelling, my work is about creating connections, amplifying voices, and crafting experiences that leave a lasting impact. Every project is an opportunity to engage, uplift, and bring meaningful stories to life.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me behind a camera, front row at a concert, or cooking a new recipe. I’m currently creating a family cookbook, documenting generations of recipes with a fresh perspective. Travel keeps me inspired, music fuels my creativity, and nothing beats time spent with my family—and our dog, Luna. I also co-host the (un)mastered tapes, a podcast where I dive into the stories and experiences of people on their journey to mastering their craft—because creativity, like everything else, is always evolving.

If you have a story to share, let’s bring it to life together. Reach out at hello@emiliazibaei.com—I’d love to collaborate!
